The Belize International Financial Services Association (BIFSA) announces its CRS/AML Spring Seminar on the OECD’s Common Reporting Standard (CRS) and its implications to the Belize financial services industry.
BIFSA’s Spring Seminar is being held at the Belize Biltmore Plaza, 3½ Miles Phillip Goldson Highway, Belize City on Tuesday 10th May from 7:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Seminar will focus on the direct relationship between CRS and the services offered by the various financial institutions in Belize.
Speakers and Topics to be presented are as follows:
- Mrs. Denise Marie Hintzke, Director, Deloitte NY – Common Reporting Standard – (CRS) : the road continues
- Mrs. Joy Grant, Director FIU – Practitioners’ Anti-Money Laundering Responsibility
- Mr. Stephen Duncan, Managing Director, Heritage Bank Limited – De-risking Update
- Mr. Aldo Salazar, Attorney-at-Law – Panama Leak
- Mr. Santiago Gonzalez, Deputy Registrar, IBC Registry – Registered Agents Procedures Update
- Ms. Alma Gomez, Supervisor of Insurance – International Insurance Administrative Update
- Mrs. Nelda Tulcey, International Financial Services Commission – IFSC Auditing Procedures
The Seminar is a full day event and includes lunch and coffee breaks for all attendees. Invitation to sign up is open to BIFSA Members in good standing at a cost of $160 as well as non-members at a cost of $200.00 per person.
